Updates
Reese took this picture of Sam and me. She is our little budding photographer.
Sam has been reaching for and grabbing things lately.
One of his favorite things to grab is Reese’s hair. She ALWAYS gets in his face and he will reach out and grab all of that hair. She doesn’t know whether to cry or laugh when it happens. He just gets the biggest smile on his face.
Reese wanted to wear a head band to school today so I found this one for her to wear. She looked so cute. I don’t know if it will still be in her hair when she gets home…we will see.

Home Videos
I found some cute videos on my hard drive that I wanted to share on here.
This is from when we came home from the hospital with Sam. Reese was so excited to see us...so sweet.
This is a new song Reese has learned at school recently. I am not sure exactly what it is because this is the only part I ever hear...
Sam was giving Reese "kisses" and she thought it was so funny...

A Little Late
I didn’t get to post these Valentine’s pictures because my computer was broken…but now I have a my new one…so here you go.
We had a Valentine Day party at a friend’s house. The kids had a lot of fun (and so did the Mommies).
Since this picture was taken two of these sweet little ones have had a baby brother born! Sam has some new friends to play with and grow with. I can’t wait to see the little ones.
Happy belated Valentine’s day!!

Reese’s View
We gave Reese a camera to use while at Disney. Here is her view of things.
A lot of feet and bottoms…So funny!
I found these pictures on her camera that
I took too. Lance took Reese to drive a car on the raceway.
Here they are waiting in line. I was in the “Grandstand” with Sam trying to keep him warm.
This is one of my favorite pictures. It really shows how much fun she was having.

The Happiest Place on Earth
I am not quite sure she understood exactly where she was but she enjoyed it. There were a ton of people there. I really didn't think it would be as crowded as it was but it must have been school break for a bunch of school systems.
We were able to see a couple of shows. We luckily walked up right when this show was starting. This was the first show Reese saw and she loved seeing the characters...the princesses were in it too.
Reese enjoyed the little things. She danced to the music playing out in the open.
She was in her own world.
Next we went to ride Dumbo. Lance and I had to take turns riding the rides with Reese.
It was so cold. We were not really prepared for how cold it was. In my haste of getting everything together, I forgot a coat for myself. It was obvious that a lot of people didn't realize how cold it was going to be because there were people in shorts. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't so windy.
We finally had to just decide to leave because everyone was so cold. We have decided that it is a must to spend at least two days at the Magic Kingdom. We will remember that for our next trip. It is also NOT a good idea to travel there with a three month old. They just require too much work. However, I was very impressed with the baby care center in the park!!
On the next day we went to downtown Disney to eat lunch. After lunch we went in to a candy shop and Reese spied this Nemo cookie.
She was only interested in the icing.
I am pretty sure she enjoyed this carosel as much as anything in the Magic Kingdom.
We had a wonderful time and were so happy to be there and spend time with our friends!! I can't wait to take the kids back when they are older and will be much more excited about everything.

It's Snowing
Updated to add...
We probably ended up with at least three inches of snow. Reese did not want to come back in from playing! I had to put sandwich bags on her hands and then put her gloves over those so that she could actually play in the snow. She LOVED it!! She will have fun playing in it again tomorrow.

Whayousay?
Usage: Reese uses this term after EVERY thing I say. Seriously! Sometimes it makes me think she needs to have her ears checked.
The other day it was really bugging me (almost as much as "Maaammmeee-a"). Then I realized that I ask her what she said a lot! It is hard to understand some things so I will ask, "What did you say?" and she will repeat herself. Maybe she now thinks this is part of every conversation. I don't know?!?! The other day she asked "whayousay?" so I repeated myself very slowly and probably louder. She responded with, "Mommy, you can't talk to me hateful! You have to talk sweeter." LOL! I apparently say this to her too. So, I guess the answer is, no she doesn't need her ears checked. She hears just fine...she just doesn't always listen!!

Three Months
Here are some things he is doing:
*Holds his head up well.
*Loves to look at his hands and other peoples hands. He could stare at my hand forever if I let him.
*Is reaching for toys hanging in front of him.
*Is such a flirt. He smiles all the time.
*Loves Reese. When he hears her talking you can see his eyes get big and he is thinking "Where is she? Where is she?"
*Sleeping well. He usually wakes up in the 3 o'clock hour to eat and falls right back to sleep.
He won't go back to the doctor until four months for a well visit. We will see how big he is then. I think babies are supposed to double their weight by four months (or maybe I made that up in my head). If that is the case, he should weight about 15 pounds.
And just because I LOVE this picture I had to post it again!! He is so cute!!!

New Pictures
Sam is doing such a great job holding his head up. Tummy time doesn't last too long though!
Ta-da! I finally bought Reese an outfit to wear to gymnastics. It is nothing fancy and I bought it at Target but she LOVES it! I am pretty sure it made her participation in gymnastics a lot better.
Reese and I made some fun new crayons the other day.
We broke up a bunch of old crayons and put them in the silicon butterfly cups.
And just because he is so stinking cute...

This and That
Yesterday Sam turned 12 weeks old!!
I was trying to get a picture of him smiling. This was the best I could do. Every time the orange light would flash he would stop smiling.
Sam's toes pushed through his blanket while he was napping. I thought it was cute...I know...what a Mom thing to think!
Reese wanted to watch TV in her Princess tent yesterday...
For some reason she wanted it upside down...
Her Daddy's daughter...Reese's favorite thing to do is "watch the Princesses get dressed" on Disney.com. She has learned how to use the mouse pad on Lance's laptop by herself so now we don't have to do it for her. It is amazing how quickly she picks up on things. She is so smart!!
Reese has been learning so much in school this year!! Some good things, some bad things. She has learned a bunch of new songs, how to count and her colors in Spanish, how to be a friend and to play with friends, and so many other fun things. However, she has picked up on some bad things too! A new thing we have caught her saying is "I hate you". She doesn't know what it means or even how to use it correctly but we are still trying to stop it now! I know there are many other bad habits she is going to learn and pick up on at school in the future. I just hope we know how to handle them correctly when the time comes!
