After Halloween Party

Today we went to a Halloween Party with the mommies and babies that we get together with occasionally. We call all of the parties "Baby Daddy (insert whatever the event is)"...today's party was the "Baby Daddy Halloween Party". This is so the baby's daddies can all meet and hang out. We try to do this once a month. Unfortunately, Lance has only been to one party...the first one. Each party he has had other plans. Today he was cheering on the jackets while Reese was busy being a cute bumblebee.

She ALWAYS wants to play with the baby toys...even though she was never interested in them at our house.

Here we are at the party. I am glad we got to use her costume one more time. Today we went with out the turtle neck because it was a nice day.

Here we are with Amy and Tuck-Tuck.
Thanks Amy for sharing these pictures.

FALL!!

Fall is here and it is beautiful! Reese and I had a lunch picnic outside in the backyard yesterday. It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I think she loved it too.

After lunch cuddle time.

Being a ham. I told her to say cheese and she did...

Kicking the ball after lunch.

After lunch Reese decided she needed a snack. She went in to the pantry, opened the Cheerios box, pulled out the bag, and started eating the Cheerios.

Here Reese is spinning on the patio.

Eventful

Yesterday morning I woke up and was hot. I look at the thermostat and it says it is much hotter than it should be!! I feel air blowing out of the vents so I call Lance to tell him what is going on. After talking to him I go outside to check the unit and notice that the fan is not spinning. Great! So I call the HVAC guy who is wonderful. He was out here within two hours. Preparing myself to spend a couple hundred dollars to get the AC fixed, he comes to me and says that the breaker was just tripped. He turned it back on and said we were good to go. I was HAPPY to write him an $85 check for the service call and he was on his way. We had a really bad storm Sunday night that must have tripped it! Now I know what to check for next time...before I spend the money!!

And the storms just keep on coming! Early this morning I woke up to the sound of a lot of rain. I think it has been raining for seven hours straight! Around eight this morning I hear the rain hitting the windows sideways and then shortly after that the sirens started going off. Luckily the really bad weather was not in this part of the county!! I was really hoping to get out of the house some today but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Hopefully we are not stuck int he house all week...we might go crazy!

Yesterday Reese was playing with her halloween bucket like it was a purse. She had it looped over her arm and was walking around. So cute!

This morning we were reading books. In the book that my cousin, Brooke, gave to Reese she put her picture inside of it. Reese kept pointing at the picture so I told her that it was Brooke. I asked her if she could say that...check it out.

You have got to be kidding...

Lance, Reese, and I worked hard in the yard on Saturday. Lance cut the grass and cleaned up a bunch of mess in the back yard. Reese and I did some planting. It was a beautiful day!!

Now...today...it is snowing!!!!!!! Yes, snowing. It is not heavy but if it kills my work I am going to be so mad! It has snowed three seperate times. If you look outside it is gorgeous. The sky is blue and only partly cloudy. Where the snow is coming from, I have no idea!!

Smoky and Smoggy

What a nasty day outside. It might be pretty if it wasn't so smoky and smoggy. I can't believe the smoke from the fires is blowing all the way up here...again...and I can't believe the fire is still burning. Hopefully God will let it rain real hard down there soon so they can put those out!! I can't imagine what the people down there are smelling. It smells like the fire is just around the corner here. To top the smoke we are in smog season so no one will be outside running today.
