On New Year’s Day we had friends over to watch football and have a shrimp boil. It was our first attempt at this with the new turkey fryer and it was a huge success!! We asked friends to bring over their favorite tailgating food so we had some yummy appetizers to snack on throughout the day. Definitely not a healthy start to the year.
For the 5+ hours that our friends were over the kids all played so well together. It wasn’t until the very end that there were some breakdowns happening. The kids played upstairs and in the basement. At one point there were seven kids in Reese’s room all with some sort of technology device…iPhones, leap pads, etc. It was too funny! The kids sang on the karaoke machine, ran around, and probably were really loud while the dad’s watched football in the basement.
And I just have to include this picture of Reese. She looked so old in this cute little outfit and “hang down earrings”!
We had such a great day!
